Alabama, nicknamed as "The Heart of Dixie" is popularly known for its heritage as a southern state key. Today the state consists of an exciting mix of old and new. From traditional agricultural events to high-tech gadgets, there is definitely something for everyone.

Birmingham, Alabama is well known as the center of the civil rights struggle in the 1950s and 1960s; today, the biggest attraction is the the whole city itself which has the most popular Alabama Gulf Coast beaches across the state. There are several more tourist spots in Alabama that is worth the time and money. Most of them are still very well preserved.

The city gives a truly new experience to its locals and visitors. The skylight, is very popular to the public which is 200 feet long, and is said to be the longest in the world; basically, it pulls tourists from the neighboring states of Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi in hoards, and Georgia marking its position as one of the best places to simply enjoy in the far South, if not the country.

Alabama is located in the southern state of the United States that has full of interesting history. There are known stopovers of tourists visiting this wonderful and rich city. You can experience deep sea adventure activities like fishing. Try the adventure hiking on wild trails together with the shorebirds. It is truly the perfect getaway for you and your family.

Shopping and sight seeing are not the only thing you can enjoy in Birmingham Alabama. Visitors can dine at one of the Birminghams many restaurants and eateries. These include: Auntie Anne's pretzels, California Pizza Kitchen, and Godiva Choclatier, as well as a variety of restaurants. Additionally, the architecture of the city is indeed a wonder, with fabulous people and lovely environment.

With a great number of exciting activities and events in which to participate, an exciting trip around the city can be very pleasing. A visit to other nearby Alabama attractions like the Botanical Gardens, Birmingham Zoo and the Museum of Art which contains an outstanding collection of over 21,000 works of art.

Alabama is the perfect place to go for individuals that appreciates nature and history. Make sure to plan your visit very well to see most of the attractions it has to offer.

    Broad Street  a one  road packed with nightclubs, diverse bars, many casino's, a few strip clubs, a nice cinema, quite a few hotels & lots of places to eat.

    This area is mostly geared towards adults, as all of the bars  require you to be over 18 to get in
